I first discovered the Triumph Dining's Essential Gluten-Free Restaurant Guide a few years ago, in Philadelphia. I'd seen the Liberty Bell -- now I needed brownies and bread, gluten-free.
At Mr. Ritt's Bakery, (which I just found out is closing) I bought all kinds of goodies and a copy of the Guide. Since we were on the road in our motorhome, we scouted GF foods everywhere we went. Shortly after that, I loaned my copy of the Essential Gluten-Free Restaurant Guide to someone and never saw it again.
Then, in early 2008, I received a copy, and devoured it -- yes! Safe places I knew about were in it, and ones I knew were not safe for us, were not. I was delighted to see how far they'd come in that time.
In July 2008, I made a presentation to the Eugene Gluten Intolerance Group (GIG) about Gluten-Free Traveling. The Triumph Dining Guide was a big resource I talked about. (Eugene GIG now has a website: http://gig-eugene.org/ -- and Gluten Intolerance Group® of North America is at: http://gluten.net/)
Now I'm on the Triumph Dining Blog list, and receive e-newsletters with terrific info in them. I love it. Even if you aren't a traveler yourself, the Blog has the latest info on new products, chains offering GF menu items, and much more. You can link to their other info, to see how they got started, how they've grown, sign up for this free newsletter and order your own Guide. Use this link:

I was thrilled to see they list over 50,000 GF restaurants, 80 GF lists from chains. They also have Dining Out Cards, and a GF Grocery Guide. Start with the Blog, and you'll definitely want to know more.
Congratulations, Ross and Kay!
