Happy New Year, Dear Readers!
Yes, no posts for a long time, but life got in the way. My ill brother I wrote about earlier passed away in late September after a difficult struggle. A car accident in November kept me away from the computer for a while. 2010 was quite a year, and I'm happy we've moved on to the next one.
In the course of several trips last year, I found a few new restaurants and confirmed a few others were still wonderful places to eat gluten-free. In the next several posts, I'll talk about the 5th Edition of Triumph Dining's Restaurant Guide. I was delighted to be asked to review this latest edition and will share my experiences on the road.
This is a milestone for me, too: in January 2002, I finally found a GI doctor who diagnosed my celiac disease. I raised a glass of champagne to his brilliance last night and was grateful for all the positive changes in my life since then.
